What does the word "Muse" mean to you?

To be a Muse is to have an individual take on style, a unique perspective that offers others inspiration. To “Muse” is to converse and reflect— to add one’s own perspective on a subject. I like to think of the noun and verb versions of the word in tandem. It’s all about being yourself and the power of individuality.

What’s the secret to taking a trend and making it timeless?

The secret to taking a trend and making it timeless is all in the fit. An oversized blazer never goes out of style so I always feel confident investing in a trendier version that might have cut-outs or exaggerated shoulders. Similarly, I find that simple essentials like a midi-skirt or trench coat are the best silhouettes to test a trend. Maybe I wouldn’t go for a logo-mania puffer but a PVC trench coat definitely feels up my alley.

If you could have front row to any runway show, what would it be and why?

Saint Laurent. Maybe it’s the cool-girl sunglasses every model wears on the runway but it’s really Anthony Vaccarello’s iconic tailored looks that I dream about. In the chaos of Paris Fashion Week, his shows always seem to stop time.

What are some silhouettes on your fall fashion wish list?

For work and play, I’m eyeing denim and leather suit skirt sets this season. Fall is my favorite time of year because it’s all about the shoes. From boots to ballet flats, I’m excited to see and make strong footwear choices this season. To switch things up, I’m test driving a pair of Mary Jane pumps and platform loafers (and it’s going well!).

Name three staples distinctive to your personal style.

Oversized blazers, pleats, and sequins.
