What does the word Muse mean to you?

Someone who inspires.

What is your go-to styling tip you give to your clients?

Start with 1 piece you love and want to wear and build the outfit from there.

Always buy quality over quantity so you have special pieces in your wardrobe that hold meaning! You will be more inclined to gravitate to those special pieces and to keep them in your closet for longer!

What is one item you won’t leave your house without?

My phone, but in general, I am pretty minimal when I leave the house-- usually a purse with my wallet, some lip oil, and sunglasses.

What’s an emerging brand you think everyone should be on the lookout for this season?

Nensi Dojaka, for sure!

What is a trend that’s outside of your comfort zone that you’ve been meaning to try?

Menswear - I would love to be more comfortable wearing trousers. Also, low rise jeans are coming back, and I'm hoping to find a pair that works for my body.

Who is a woman that is Musing you right now?

My mother and grandmother always! I'm also forever inspired by women who are working hard whether it's for their families or careers. My fashion muses are Anna de la Russo, Chloe Sevigny, Bridgitte Bardot, Jane Birkin, Debbie Harry.--the list goes on!

What does women’s history month mean to you?

It definitely makes me think about all the amazing women in the past and present who have helped us get to where we are today. For me, Women's History Month means the right to choose, to be seen and heard, and to be respected.

Where do you see the future of fashion and the styling industry going in the next year?

I think tech will continue to play a huge role in fashion - we are all so connected now and there are a lot of interesting things happening with digital styling - I think virtual closets and the ability to try things on virtually will become more common.

I also think NFTs are pretty fascinating for a fashion collector and more brands will utilize them for presenting collections and one of a kind/limited pieces.

Sustainability is finally a focus for a lot of brands, so I think we will continue to see this play a huge role in future collections.
