Tell us about how you came to create Fewer Finer.
I started the collection in 2018 and launched it in 2019, knowing that I wanted to create a brand of my own. I started with a signature collection and then after about a year, I fell in love with reimagining vintage pieces and now it's become more than half of the business. Our team collects jewelry from around the world, and we customize with our clients here in New York.
What sets your brand apart from other fine jewelry brands?
For our clients and for us, it's about sentimentality so taking something that is meaningful to you and finding a way to wear it on your body everyday. Because of the materials we work with, they are meant to be showered in, swam in, sweat in, and that, to us, is a way to keep that sentiment close to your heart.
How do you think your collection tells a story of these sentiments?
Lots of people love to engrave these pieces with a special name, initials, date or something like that. The meaning behind the piece can be held even closer and gets to be a part of their everyday, serving as a reminder of someone or something special.
