OPERATIONS INTERN

Summary

Dora Maar is looking for an operations intern who is excited to work at a high-growth startup with a dedicated team. In this role, we are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, professional and resourceful to assist the CEO in operational tasks. This internship is for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to learn how a fashion tech company runs. 

  • Assist the CEO / Executive team in compiling relevant agenda items for team meetings 
  • Assist in organizing team meetings 
  • Learn the ins and outs of running a start up by assisting the CEO in daily operational tasks including but not limited to: 
    • Organization of presentation decks 
    • Assistance with communication to team 
    • Helping to organize Muse, brand and customer lists and relevant communication 
    • Assistance with calendar management 
    • Assist with relevant team photo shoots that involve the CEO
  • Assist with market research in NYC and other target markets including potential partnerships, Muses, brands, events and cultural happenings 
  • Work with CEO to arrange meetings or outings 
  • Assist merch team in specific and relevant merchandising operations needs like shipping and messenger pickups 
  • Assist team on updating company social media profiles 

Requirements 

  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suites, especially in Sheets (Excel), Word (Docs), Slides ( PPT & Apple Keynote)
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with email communication 
  • Ability to communicate with high-level professionals and public figures 
  • Proficiency with calendar management 
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry including key players, brands, and events specifically as it relates to the luxury fashion industry 

This is an unpaid internship and you must receive school credit. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY. Must be able to work in-person 2-3 days a week.
